£15 Added To Average Family Bill
Monday 21st April 2008

The average family food bill has increased by £15 over the past year figures released this week reveal.

Popular comparison website mysupermarket.com has compared the cost of 24 staple items which include bread, milk and eggs to come up with the figure.

Leading supermarket prices were put to the test including Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda.

It is thought that prices will continue to rise which has lead to panic in many part of America where rations are now being placed on products like rice to prevent people bulk buying.
