Monday 16th April 2007

Credit Cards make life easier bringing convenience to customers, until recently however many newcomers to Britain have found it difficult to acquire credit cards as they are without a credit rating. Prepaid credit cards can provide an alternative for customers without a credit history and APS the company behind the CashPlus gold card have launched a major new campaign this April aimed at those who may be having difficulty opening a bank account or obtaining credit.

CashPlus is being hailed by APS as an excellent way for immigrants to have a credit card and to send money home and they are in the process of translating their literature into alternative languages such as Hindi and Polish. All you need to acquire a Mastercard from CashPlus is a passport of any nationality making it a viable option for immigrants from both the EU and further a field.

APS is entering an increasingly popular market for prepaid credit cards competing with leading lenders such as American Express, Lloyds TSB and The Yorkshire Bank. Prepaid cards can be obtained online or from the post office and can be used just like a traditional credit card to withdraw cash, make purchases online, over the phone or in stores up and down the country. Prepaid cards can be top up in a variety of ways including at the Post Office, and by standing order.
