Britain Is Always On A Diet
Wednesday 9th January 2008 A survey carried out by Supermarket Megastore Tesco has suggested that 1 in 3 British dieters are always on a diet.
The poll in which 2,000 people were questioned on their eating habits showed that those over 55 were the most likely to restrict their calorie intake.
The survey also showed that 15% of the people interviewed spent more than 30 minutes a day worrying about their weight with many females admitting to spending up to 3 hours fretting about their size.
Experts have warned that by the year 2050 60% of the British population will be overweight, they are keen to point out however that yo-yo dieting is not the best way to combat the problem.
