Changing Supplier

If you do decide to change there are a number of important points to consider such as:

  • Shop around as the first quote isn’t always likely to be the best.
  • Remember there are no charges for changing supplier.
  • You can change your supplier even if you are on a prepay meter.
  • Contact your new supplier and arrange a new contract with them.
  • Give your current supplier 28 days notice, via phone and post.
  • Pay any outstanding bills - if you don’t you may be prevented from switching.
  • Take a meter reading on the day you change supplier.
