Christmas Wishlist Revealed

As I sit here writing there are officially 75 days 16 hours and 14 minutes until Christmas (its 13.37) for anyone who fancies checking my figures) and today is the day when the Toy Retailers Association announce the hot Christmas gifts for children up and down the country. Below you will find a break down of the list with a brief description of the product, a little idea at who its aimed at and the recommended retail price in brackets.

  • Are You Smarter Than A 10 Year Old? - A board game for all the family which is based on the popular TV show and pitches the kids against the grown-ups! Aged 8 and above. Hasbro (£19.99 RRP)
  • Baby Annabell New Version 4 – This doll is a classic and the new version turns its head when you talk. The toy is suitable for children aged 36 months and above but will probably be popular with young girls. Zapf Creation (£39.99 RRP)
  • Barbie Girls – Barbie goes digital with this Barbie shaped MP3 player aimed at girls between the ages of 6 and 10. Mattel (£49.99 RRP)
  • Doctor Who Dalek Sec Hybrid Voice Changer Mask – Exactly what it says on the tin a dalek mask from the popular television series that changes the voice of the person who wears it! Simple! Aimed at boys and girls aged 5 and above. Character Options (£29.95 RRP)
  • Flytech Dragonfly – this creation is exactly what you might expect from the title – an indoor flying dragonfly! Might not be what you want but set to be a hit with boys aged 8 and up. Character Options (£34.87 RRP)
  • Golden Balls – Based on the popular daytime show this is an electronic board game suitable for ages 8 and up and set to be a popular option for families. Vivid Imaginations (£19.99 RRP)
  • GR8 Art Bindeez Super Deluxe Studio Centre - This is an arts and crafts gift which allows children to create beads with no mess, glue or fuss. The manufacturer has placed a minimum age of 4 on this item. Character Options (£19.95 RRP)
  • In The Night Garden - Blanket Time Igglepiggle - Based on the popular TV show this plush doll is suitable for boys and girls over 18 months and set to be a winner with younger tots. Hasbro (£34.99 RRP)
  • Puppy Grows and Knows Your Name – This is a great present for boys and girls alike – you can buy a poodle or a retriever and watch it grow from a small puppy to a dog over a two week period (whatever next!) Suitable for children aged 3 and above. Mattel (£44.99 RRP)
  • Roary R/C Car – This car is a character from the popular Pixar film Cars. The manufacturer has placed a minimum age of 3 on the product and it is set to be popular with children and young adults alike. Vivid Imaginations (£24.99 RRP)
  • Say What? - This is an electronic board game in which you must beat the clock to unscramble popular phrases. Aged from 6 plus it is set to be popular with boys and girls alike. Radica (£24.99 RRP)
  • Transformers Movie Leader: Optimus Prime – From the hit film Transformers comes this monster of a toy a truck which transforms into a man (get it?!) It is of course going to be popular with boys of all ages but should only be purchased for those aged 5 and above. Hasbro (£39.99 RRP)

So, that means you have 75 days, 16 hours and erm, 14 minutes to get yourself to the shops and fight the queues to purchase the must have items for your little angels. Alternatively you may find it easier to purchase items with toy retailers online.
