Monday 5th November 2007 Kent Shopping Centre Bluewater is putting its 12 Santa’s through a month long boot camp to get them into shape ready for greeting children and delivering presents this Christmas.
Shoppers visiting the Centre which is located near Dartford can watch the Santa’s exercising throughout November under the watchful eye of their trainer and will be performing exercises such as The Santa Sack Lift which is said to strengthen core muscles in the back.
Whilst the Santa’s will not be forced to lose excessive amounts of weight it is hoped that by shaping up and becoming fitter they will provide a positive role-model for adults and children alike and encourage people of all ages to participate in some exercise.
