Credit CardLloyds Target Polish Workers

Wednesday 25th April 2007

Set to launch today, Lloyds TSB is offering a new bank account aimed at Polish workers resident in the UK. Named the Silver Account, account holders are offered a visa debit card, European travel insurance, mobile phone insurance and roadside assistance.

Once customers have had their account for 3 months and provided they have an annual salary of £10,000 or more they can then apply for a Lloyds Classic Credit Card.

The new trend of immigrant workers is providing a whole new market for major banks and building societies in the UK and Lloyds are following a trend set up by HSBC who launched their Passport account last year offering customers discounts when transferring money abroad.
