Harry Potter Causes A Stir
Monday 3rd March 2008 Stars are flocking to the town of Gloucester as filming continues on the new Harry Potter Film. Parts of the sixth Harry Potter epic are being shot in Gloucester Cathedral.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is the third film to use the Catherdral as a setting and many actors including Daniel Ratcliffe, Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith are currently working in the city.
Tourism to the city has increased as a direct result of previous filming and it is estimated that around 170 children from King’s School will be given the chance to star in the movie too.
Filming began on the movie last September and the film is due to be released on 21st November 2008.
