TV’s golden couple Richard and Judy have this week signed a deal which will see them moving to satellite channel UKTV in the autumn.

The chat show hosts who made their name on ITV’s This Morning have spent the past 7 years on their Channel 4 show and have recently begun to share the 5 o’clock spot with Paul O’Grady.

The pair have been on our screens since 1988 and currently attract more than 3 million viewers each afternoon. The digital move is likely to see a drop in ratings for them when they move in November.

Husband and wife say that they are delighted with the move however and their show will have a prime time slot once the channel is revamped in the summer.
