You like that in the morning, the same vehicle that dropped you off the night before is waiting to pick you up outside your hotel with your extra luggage stored safely on board. You enjoy mingling with a lot of other people and you’re excited about the fact that dinner is at your leisure, because you can choose where you want to go and who to go with. Maybe you are also a little safety conscious when you travel and like to have certain comforts, such as tried and tested accommodation.

You want to involve yourself not only with the Latino culture, but also with the entire experience of travelling through the lands. You envisage sitting next to locals on buses, wandering through marketplaces, trying local restaurants and generally exploring the area. You might have travelled independently in the past but a tour in Latin America appeals to you because you may not be fluent in the local language and want to learn more about the destination. You don’t want to spend much time in your hotels but you want to stay somewhere clean, comfortable and centrally located so you can go off and do your own thing. You like having a smaller group to travel with.

Are you an Independent traveller?
Independent travel packages allow you to personalise your travel options and itinerary. They are a compilation of hotels, transfers, half and full-day guided tours. There are also longer holiday packages that include your choice of highlights, such as the 4 day Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu, and the 3 day Amazon Jungle Excursion. Stopover packages in major cities and accommodation before and after your tour are also featured in this section.

You like the fact that our boat, the ‘Ushuaia’ is an Argentinean vessel with local crew who know the region better than anyone.

Are our Language Schools for you?
Local transport and home stays are not enough: you want to learn how to speak the fascinating Spanish language spoken throughout Latin America. You want to broaden your horizons, expand your mind and spend a week in one of our excellent, one-on-one language schools. Our schools are conveniently located in many of our tour joining and finishing cities, making it easier for you to combine your week’s schooling with one of our tours.

Accommodation - Home stay with a local family

Transport - Schools are usually in walking distance from the home or a short bus ride away

Tuition - 20 hours of individual classes per week from Monday to Friday

Age Group - Open to all

Included Meals - 3 meals per day provided by your local family (except Antigua - no meals on Sunday)
