There is a lot to do in Tunisia and many cities in the country are well worth a visit and provide an interesting and worthwhile day out. One of the most popular things to do in Tunisia is to take the ‘lezard rouge’, a 1920s train that winds amongst the rugged mountains in Melaoui.
Mahdia also makes for a good day out. The quaint seaside town was once the capital of the country and is rich in history and architecture to keep all minds amused. Other cities of interest include Sousse, Monastir who’s main attraction is a fortress right on the beach and Sfax.
