Cheap and Cheerful!
As a young driver (20), insurance companies do not like me - it is nothing personal. Also, I have an accident on my record which means that any premiums are increased. This is combination with my age does not bode well for my bank balance. However, after watching an advert on the 'telly' I thought I would give bell.co.uk a try to see if they were as cheap as they make out. To my utter amazement, they were shockingly cheap - so much so I had to check again and again to make sure I had put in the correct info. So when I bought a car, bell.co.uk was my first port-of-call to get insurance. A 1.9 litre car for someone like me! I was thinking to myself - thousands rather than hundreds. Shockingly not. Bell were wanting about £650, RAC were wanting £2,300 and Norwich Union (my previous insurer) about the same. As that terrible American phrase goes, "No brainer!". Not only was the quote cheap, but legal expenses (up to £30,000), free windscreen repair, free courtesy car and free European cover all as STANDARD. No extra charges or excesses like most car insurers. Since it is part of the Admiral group of companies I am sure it will be sincere and professional should I ever have to make a claim. I have given their customer service and quality only an 8 because I have not had much dealings with them. But I am sure it will be a 9 or 10....
