TalkTalk but will probably WalkWalk
I ordered TalkTalk Option 3 in April 2006, and finally got connected in July. I had been with BTinternet Option 3 for more than 3 years. The BT service was fine, it just cost too much.
In the 2 months I have been with TalkTalk, I can report the following: it works - but with some severe limitations. The main problem is the webmail. It has the most awful, dysfunctional and ugly interface I have ever seen. It is truly non-intuitive, has hardly any features (including no spam filter). But the worst drawback is that it doesn't work. I have to use it as I'm out of the office or abroad a lot, and sometimes it takes me 20 or more attempts to log in even though I'm using the correct username and password. When eventually I do log in, the functionality is highly unstable, causing screens to blank out and data to be incorrectly displayed. TalkTalk have really got to own up to this problem and throw out their terrible mail programme.
Other problems include customer support that only answers their questions and not yours and broadband speeds that are not coming close to 8MB even though I have a high speed exchange.
Unless they change it, I will be the first to WalkWalk as soon as my 18 month contract is up - free or not.
